Certified Clinical Herbalist and Nutritionist, Registered Nurse

I came to know herbalism through a deep connection with the natural world.  Leaving the depth of the cold New England Atlantic and the history of my Connecticut childhood, the old stone walls, and symbolic White Oaks, I found my way to the Great Sierras.  Working on a crew for Sequoia National Park maintaining trails 25 miles from the nearest road, I connected with a different kind of living.  The essence of those precious years in the mountains are what has drawn me to study social justice and environment education.  Further, that essence is what encouraged my study in herbal medicine.  It has been my love of people and the sanctity of all life that led me to study as a nurse as well.  It is my greatest wish to be of service to others and help guide them toward becoming their best selves.
